How To Paste Jpg Into Creo Drawing

Documenting a design and communicating design intent on an engineering drawing often requires you lot to insert images into your drawing sheet.

These could be paradigm files representing engineering calculation results, diagrams, rendered model images, photos, or any other information captured in an image file.

2D drawing with epitome files added.

Now, it's easy to import those image files directly into a 2d drawing using Creo four. In fact, if you've ever imported a picture to a PowerPoint slide or a Word document, y'all mostly already know how to do it.

Here are the steps:

  1. Click Layout > Images.
  2. Click Import.
  3. Locate the image file, select it, and click Open.
  4. Drag the image to where you want it placed on the cartoon.
  5. If desired, adjust the prototype's calibration, rotation, and/or transparency.

That's it! The imported image file becomes office of the drawing. And note, the organization doesn't require object linking and embedding (OLE).

Import common formats similar JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP, as well every bit PTC image formats or Creo Sketch files.

Super simple, right? You probably don't demand it, but here's a short video demo:
